I would recommend this book for ages 11 and up.
This book follows a girl named Cammie who attends the Gallagher Girl Academy For Exceptional Young Women. The rest of the world thinks that this school is for geniuses, when it is actually a school to train young girls to be spies. Cammie has a talent that know one else in the school has, she can blend in to any surrounding and go unnoticed. That is until a boy notices her on one of her class missions. He thinks that she is an ordinary girl and has no idea that she is being trained to be a world class spy. Cammie doesn’t know what to do, should she forget him, or should she and her friends hack into all of his files, and find out who he is? The decision is an easy one.
I loved this book! It is one of my favorite series, and I have read all six books multiple times, I highly recommend it. To start with, I love any book that has anything to do with spies, and that was what this entire book was about. This book has a very book message of friendship in it, that continues on in the entire series. No matter what is happening in the story, you can always see the friendship that the four main characters have. I would also consider this book a coming of age story, you see how Cammie grows up, and learns different things from all sorts of different people that she runs into. Over all this book was incredible and I cannot wait to read more from this author in the future.
My favorite character was Macey, because she was so different from the rest of the girls at the school, and she didn’t change who she was for anybody.
This book had no swearing, minor romance, and minor violence.
